Then i tried the radical way: I deinstalled the Scarbee Mark I in Windows, and started the Komplete Select Downloader. In Kontrol standalone, i repeated all scans, just in case, i had overlooked something - but no result. Now comes the really strange part : When loading the formerly saved default song in Reaper (with Mark1 as VSTi on the track), i could still play it live and played back from track - but it was not listed as an addable VSTi anymore. Yet the library of the mark1 was still in the appropriate folder. Looking into my vstplugins- and vstplugins64-Folders, there wasn´t anything like a "mark1.dll" to be found.

Everything with those new instruments was ok.Īfter some hours of testing i suddenly noticed, that in the standalone version Komplete Kontrol, Mark I wasn´t shown anymore, nor could it be selected as VSTi in Reaper, although up to that point I had not changed anything of the the installation of the Mark I. Some days later i installed the Complete Ultimate Crossgrade (some instruments, i cant remember which ones, would be automatically excluded from installing, because there where already newer versions installed), and tested the new instruments. I setup a default song in reaper, in which the Scarbee Mark 1 was the VSTi on the first track, and saved it. After installing my new Kontrol S61 and downloading/installing Complete Select, everything worked fine, Mark I included.
